Dan DeVos
Dan DeVos is a member of the Board of Directors of Amway, one of the world’s leading direct selling companies. Dan previously served as vice president of corporate affairs for Amway. Other positions he held at Amway include vice president for the Pacific region, vice president of distributor relations for North America, and director of U.S. special events. Dan is the son of Amway co-founder Richard DeVos, who with Jay Van Andel, started Amway in 1959 in Ada, Michigan.
Dan is chairman and CEO of DP Fox Ventures LLC. Founded in 1993 by Dan and Pamella, DP Fox Ventures LLC is a diversified management company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with interests in real estate, fashion, transportation, sports, and entertainment. Dan owns and operates Fox Motors, Fox Harley-Davidson, and Fox Powersports. He is a partner of CWD Real Estate Investment and co-owner, CEO, and governor of the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL). Dan also is president/CEO of Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina in the Bahamas.
In addition, Dan serves as the chairman of the Orlando Magic and a member of the NBA Board of Governors.
Dan is involved in a variety of philanthropic organizations including the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Foundation which focuses on the arts, education and community. He serves on the board of trustees for Hope Network Foundation and Northwood University, his alma mater, in Midland, Michigan. Dan also is a vice chair of the Grand Valley University Foundation.
