Melodie Nakhle is the Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She is responsible for the development of innovative products and digital experiences designed to inspire brand loyalty and empower Amway Business Owners (ABOs) to cultivate strong customer relationships, with a focus on health and wellbeing solutions.

Nakhle reports to Chief Operating Officer Asha Gupta and serves on Amway’s Global Leadership Team, the key executive decision-making body, body focused on shaping global strategy, strengthening company culture and enhancing Amway Business Owner (ABO) and customer experiences.

Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Amway Europe, Southern Africa, Australia and New Zealand (ESAN). In that role, she partnered with ABOs and market teams to drive transformation and strengthen business performance across more than 30 diverse markets, while leading a team of more than 1,000 individuals. Under her leadership, the region thrived: it achieved remarkable growth in sales, sponsoring and operating income and became a key player in the health and wellness industry.

Nakhle joined Amway in 2010 as a Senior Manager in Amway’s Global Brand Management team, leading innovation strategy for Nutrilite – the world’s number one selling vitamin and dietary supplements brand. In 2012, she served as Director of Marketing & New Business Development and Chief Experience Officer for the Asia Pacific region. She was promoted to Chief Sales Officer for Amway Japan in 2016, where she led sales growth and improved profitability that significantly contributed to the company’s overall financial performance. 

Previously, Nakhle was Director of Global Marketing for Florim Ceramiche S.p.A. in Italy, where she drove company expansion into target markets worldwide via comprehensive, integrated marketing programs. Prior to Florim, she held category management, innovation and business development roles at Whirlpool Corporation with responsibility for a $1 billion USD category.

Nakhle has served as Vice-chair of the Executive Council at AmCham EU and was a member of the CEO Council at Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health psychology from Andrews University in Michigan and MBA with concentrations in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
