Sponsoring
All Registration Forms contain two names; an applicant’s name & surname and a co-applicant’s name & surname. With the exception of Members and Member Plus, Independent Business Owners that are Civil Servants, officers, doctors or lawyers cannot register neither as applicant 1 nor as a co – applicant, due to professional conflict restrictions. For such cases the prospect in conflict may choose to be listed as a related party without any contractual relations. All Independent Business Owners, Member Plus and Members must be at least 18 years of age.
Business Type
I – Amway Business Owner (ABO)
This is the business builder, eligible to register other Amway Business Owners, Member Plus and Members, merchandise, receive Performance Volume Commissions and take advantage of all of the benefits of owning an Amway business.
M+ – Member Plus
Member Plus are very similar to ABO but differ in that they don’t earn income and don’t retail to end consumers. Their gains from the plan are applied as discounts to future orders. M+ also is not recognized from Silver producer and higher levels.
M – Member
Members will enjoy a variety of benefits such as products and services at ABO price. A Member is a privileged customer and does not participate in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
C – Customer
The ABO’s customer, purchase from ABO, at retail price and Amway Hellas pays the retail sales commission to the ABO together with the regular monthly bonus on the 15th of every month.
Establish a Second Business
International Sponsoring
International sponsoring is always an option and an excellent means of expanding your business while avoiding many of the costs and complexities associated with establishing a second business. Please note: For those markets where foreigners are able to establish a second business, they must be the international sponsor of their second business in another country.
It will be possible for foreigners to become Amway Greece Business Owners, although it will be an easier process for European Union (EU) citizens. In the case of EU citizens, no entry visa is required to travel to Greece. However, a work visa and residence permit are required if you intend to engage in business activities in Greece. These should not be difficult to obtain.
You will also be required to comply with local tax and business registration requirements to the same extent as Greek resident nationals. These would include, for example, filing a Commencement of Business Declaration and obtaining a tax registration number once you begin regular and habitual Amway business activities.
The situation is more complex for non-EU citizens. Technically, a business visa is required to engage in commercial activities in Greece, including sponsoring activities.
The difficulty of obtaining a business visa (and the necessity of obtaining one) will vary among different nationalities. To actually establish an Amway business in Greece requires the non-EU citizen to obtain both a residence and work permit. These may be quite difficult to obtain for a foreign national seeking to establish his/her business as an individual. With the Multiple Business Policy we do not require all the above. A non European citizen in order to get registered in Greece has to be Platinum & above in another Amway market or he is in the exceptions frame.
A foreigner may, however, establish a Greek local legal entity (such as a limited liability company, corporation, or partnership) and operate his/her business through such a company. While they are required to appoint a local representative in Greece for the company, the owners of the company or other entity could travel to Greece to support its activities under a simple business visa (if required for the particular nationality involved).
Amway will accept and recognize Amway Business Owner applications from non-Greek citizens on an interim basis without being provided a tax registration number (which can only be obtained by complying with local immigration requirements). However, for bonus payments, a local tax identification number is required.
Foreign national of countries where Amway is not officially operating may not register as ABO or Member Plus. They may register as Member only.
