Frances Yu

As President of Amway China, Frances Yu leads all operations in China and works closely with Amway Business Owners to strengthen partnerships with the company.

Yu reports to CEO Michael Nelson and serves on Amway’s Global Leadership Team, the executive decision-making body focused on shaping global strategy, strengthening company culture and enhancing Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and customer experiences.

She joined Amway China in 2000 and has held several key leadership positions before she was appointed president in 2018. Previously, Yu served as Chief Marketing Officer of the Amway Greater China Region, with a portfolio that covered marketing, communications and public affairs for the entire market, where she became regarded as a pioneer in marketing innovation and reputation management. She also served as Amway China’s VP of Public Affairs.

Prior to Amway, Yu served in the Legal Section of the former PRC Internal Trade Bureau.

Yu has been the General Director of Amway Charity Foundation since its founding in 2011, leading programs that have improved the nutrition of 4+ million children in rural China. She also serves as Co-chair of the Women’s Professional Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, Vice Chairwoman of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Executive Director of the Chinese Young Volunteers Association, and as Board Director of the China Environmental Protection Foundation.

Yu earned a master’s degree in law from Renmin University of China.
