Kristi Pelc is Amway’s Chief Research and Development Officer, overseeing innovation and global research and development. She leads teams responsible for driving scientific advancements and innovation strategies across more than 100 countries and territories in which Amway operates.

Pelc reports to Chief Operating Officer Asha Gupta and serves on Amway’s Global Leadership Team, the key executive decision-making body, focused on shaping global strategy, strengthening company culture and enhancing Amway Business Owner and customer experiences.

Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of Healthy Beauty and Home Product Development and Product Solutions. Since joining Amway in 1994, Pelc has held a variety of other leadership positions in Product Development, Packaging R&D and Project Management. Throughout her tenure, she has played an instrumental role in product development across all categories.

Previously, Pelc worked for Colgate-Palmolive as a Packaging Engineer. With a passion for people, Pelc is energized by working with global teams, building relationships and helping individuals achieve their professional and personal goals. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, innovation and mentorship, drawing from extensive experience across diverse teams and projects. Pelc earned a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University.
