Luke Nieuwenhuis

As Chief Sales Officer, Luke Nieuwenhuis is responsible for Amway’s global sales strategy and operations and oversees distributor incentives and recognition, field partnership and leadership development, account management and global training and education. He is also the Regional President of Southeast Asia (SEA) & India. This includes Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and Vietnam.
Nieuwenhuis reports to John Parker, President of Amway Markets. He serves on Amway’s Global Leadership Team, an executive decision-making body focused on shaping global strategy, strengthening company culture and enhancing Amway Business Owner and customer experiences.
Most recently, as Vice President of Global Sales, Nieuwenhuis led initiatives to drive growth and the Amway Business Opportunity forward.
Nieuwenhuis joined Amway in 2004. Throughout his tenure, he’s served in key leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer for the Americas Region and Vice President of Global Strategic Planning, where he was responsible for business planning, corporate strategy and development and supporting the Amway Board of Directors. He also held management roles in Global Procurement and Supply Chain Planning.
Previously, he worked in Property Development, Business Planning and Supply Chain at Meijer, Inc., a regional retailer.
Nieuwenhuis serves on the Board of Directors of Cure International, a not-for-profit organization that provides life-changing surgeries for children worldwide.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in geology and another in international business from Calvin University. He also received a master’s in business administration with a focus on supply chain and finance from Michigan State University.
