In response to the breadth of destruction and suffering Hurricane Helene has inflicted across over 140,000 miles from Florida to the Appalachian states since it formed on September 25 in the Gulf of Mexico, Amway today announced plans to make an immediate donation of $50,000 USD to the American Red Cross. The entrepreneur-led health and wellbeing company will match up to $50,000 of contributions that are placed through the company’s American Red Cross site. This contribution reflects Amway’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility and helping those in need.
The number of Independent Business Owners (IBOs) and employees affected by the catastrophic hurricane is currently unknown. As Amway gathers more information about the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, they will assess if further support is needed.
