ADA, MICH., USA (Oct. 1, 2020) – Amway today announced Asha Gupta as its new chief strategy and corporate development officer reporting to Chief Executive Officer Milind Pant. Gupta joins Amway after 23 years at Tupperware where she most recently served as executive vice president and chief strategy and marketing officer.

In her role, Gupta will be responsible for leading the development of Amway’s long-term global business strategy and evaluating strategic growth opportunities that will help Amway Business Owners (ABOs) meet their customers’ needs and grow their businesses online. In addition to her enterprise strategy stewardship, Gupta will also lead the strategic acquisition and alliance initiatives for the company.
As the executive vice president and chief strategy and marketing officer at Tupperware, Gupta led the company’s sustainability positioning and entry into new product categories. Prior to her global role, she led the largest revenue and profit contributing region for Tupperware as group president, Asia Pacific. Earlier in her Tupperware career, Gupta served as managing director, India and area vice president, Asia Pacific achieving 32 consecutive quarters of growth and helping Tupperware achieve super-brand status in India. Asha began her career leading regional sales at Coats Viyella, a British textile conglomerate. She also consulted for Coca-Cola in the Middle East and helped them with their plans to move into new categories within the region. Fortune India magazine listed Gupta as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” in 2012 and 2013.
